Determine places for your roof support posts. Mark these places on deck remodel design and cut out areas in tires at these places to dig a hole in the ground below deck. Set a concrete ground and attach the posts. Dig holes in the ground at each posting space at least 18 inches in depth and 12-18 inches wide. Slide cylindrical concrete shapes into the holes and fill with concrete. While the concrete is still wet, adjust and adjust the bar brackets in it. Let the concrete cure for 24 hours. Raise 2x8s again and screw properly. Repeat for all span between support posts.

Begin at one end of the shorter side of your roof, marking the roof tiles every 24 inches at the center of the tops of 2x8s.
