Hello to the UK

The reference in the headline to madness is perhaps not what I would have chosen (I am a lot less dramatic, as a rule), but it’s great to be introduced, in a sense, to a whole new country. You can view the Daily Mail piece here. (And no, that’s not me in the photograph.)

Some people have written to ask where they can buy the book. I don’t yet have a UK publisher, so the only route is to go to amazon.co.uk and order it online. I realize this is pricey, and I’m working on finding a UK distributor so that the books are available more quickly and more cheaply. More information to follow!

emily emily ….. this is the best news you’ll hear all day …….

the best place to buy books – at the moment – is The Book Depository (no affiliations ……. just a very very happy customer)

They have FREE world-wide shipping and cost HALF – yes, half – of the price of what a book is here in Australia. Yes, half. So I’ve already purchased a few books from both the UK and US sites.

Here are the links. Oh – they sell hard back and paperback ….. so I always make sure that I buy only paperback because it’s cheaper.

At the moment the UK store has your book in stock in hard-back ….. but not paperback.

    Anyway …. the links …

  2. I think (referring to the pic here) that as a singleton if one is going to have a little red heart-shaped cushion on your couch to remind you everyday of your lonely status, you’re probably not helping matters.

  3. Oh and BTW, the histrionic reference to madness is Very Daily Mail. They’re the tut-tutting, crotchety ol’ aunt/uncle of British journalism (and that’s *the nicest* way I can put it…)
